3CX has been steadily adding management functionality directly to users through their web client. If you have the necessary permissions, you will be able to manage Ring Groups, Office Hours, Greetings, and other features from the Web Client.


Note: If you would like access to manage your company's phone system, please reach out to Pinnacle, and we can help you get set up.


Finding the "Admin" panel

  1. If you need help signing in or accessing the web client reach out to Pinnacle and they can send you a Welcome Email containing the link to your web client and your login information.
  2. To access the Web Client navigate to https://pbx.[company].com:5001/webclient/#/login or https://[company].3cx.us:5001/webclient/#/login. The exact link can be found in your Welcome Email.
  3. Once you are at the login page - if Pinnacle manages your user accounts you can click the "Microsoft" button to sign in with your Microsoft account. Otherwise, enter the credentials from your Welcome Email.
  4. Once you have logged in, you should see the Admin icon at the bottom of the left-hand menu


In the Admin Console:


Manage Ring Groups, Call Queues, and Digital Receptionists

  1. In the admin panel, you can click "Call Handling" to get to your Ring Group panel
  2. From here you are able to edit any group you'd like by clicking on the group

  3. Click on the "Users" tab and from here you can do the following: Add users (by clicking "+ Add User" at the top), Delete users by clicking the trash can next to their name, or swap out users by clicking the dropdown arrow next to their name

  4. After clicking into the group, you can make all the changes from the main screen
  5. To change what extension a menu dial code connects to click the dropdown arrow next to their name


Manage Office Hours

  1. In the Admin Panel (see Finding the "Admin" panel above), click on Office hours in the menu on the left side of the screen.
  2. In this menu, it will automatically put you in your department, either "DEFAULT" or your company name 
  3. From here, you can see what the automatic office hours are set to
  4. You can click on any time range under "Office Hours" to adjust the hours. Note: You can click on "AM/PM" to change it 
  5. You can click "Add" under "Break Hours" to add a time period where your system will switch to Out of Office Mode automatically (Example: Your office breaks for lunch every day from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm or a weekly meeting on Fridays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm)
