Pinnacle provides unlimited US calling, but we occasionally get requests about the cost of outbound international calling.  Your location doesn't matter - you can be using the 3CX app any place you like to receive calls or place US calls - we're referring specifically to calls initiated from your system to non-US destinations.

Outbound international calling is disabled by default because rates vary constantly, the risk of hacking is high, and our overall customer usage is such low volume that the cost of processing the billing is more than the value of the calls.

As a result, if you wish for us to enable international calling, we can do that with a few caveats:

  1. We have no good way to restrict international calls on a phone-by-phone basis - we have to enable/disable international calling for your entire system.  Most notably, this means that any of your employees with the 3CX app installed on their cell phone or accessing the web client remotely could potentially rack up significant international calls outside of normal business hours that you'd be responsible for.
  2. You'd be taking on the risk of your system being hacked and billed for international calls.
  3. Because the paperwork is such a hassle, we only bill international calls on a quarterly basis.  This means it could take as much as 4 months for you to see charges appear on an invoice.
  4. We don't control (or attempt to keep up with) the rates - we simply pass through calls at Telnyx's standard rates (see telnyx.com for up to date info).

If you wish for us to enable international calling with these caveats, please print this page, sign and date it somewhere below to indicate that you understand the costs and risks explained above, and we'll get that functionality enabled for you.
