Your 3CX phone system from Pinnacle provides an app that allows you to answer your office phone line anytime, anywhere from your smartphone.


  1. On your computer (NOT your phone), go to your company's phone system URL and click "Sign in with Microsoft". This will use your normal computer/email credentials to log in.  If you need this URL, email Pinnacle - techsupport@pinnacletechnology.solutions or call 260 205 8900.
  2. Once you get logged in to the phone system, the QR code may pop up automatically - otherwise, click the QR code in the upper-right-hand corner to open up the configuration QR code.  Note: this QR code must be scanned from within the 3CX app - it will not work from your regular camera app.
  3. Open the app on your phone - it should prompt you to scan the QR code.
  4. After scanning the QR code, you should see the main dialer pop up, and the box in the top right of this screen should be green and say "Ready for Calls".  You are ready to make/receive calls!

Note: If you have a desk phone, your mobile app will ring every time your desk phone rings, and all outbound calls (from either a physical phone OR the mobile app) will show with your normal caller ID (your extension when making an internal call, and the office main number on external calls).


If you wish to turn off your app (so that your cell phone only rings when you're working from home, for example), go into the app, click the 3 lines in the upper right-hand corner, select Accounts, and uncheck your account.  Go back in and check it when you're ready to reactivate.


Android Users (only): If you receive the alert about "Not enough permissions" because your battery settings are "Optimized", try this path to change it: Settings -> Apps -> 3CX -> App Battery Usage -> tap Allow Background Usage (not tick/untick) -> Change from Optimized to Unrestricted
