The Self-Identification message (your recorded name) can only be done via telephone, but there are 2 ways to change your personal voicemail greeting: the traditional method via telephone or via the web client.

If you don't have the link or credentials for one of these, reach out to Pinnacle at 260-205-8900 or email techsupport@pinnacletechnology.solutions and ask us to send you a 3CX "Welcome Email".

Change Voicemail Greeting from 3CX Web Client

Once you get logged in, you will see something like the following:

You can record any of the messages you like by clicking "Record Greeting".  This will prompt you for a name, then call your extension to have you record the new prompt.

Once you've recorded a new prompt, you'' be able to select the dropdown on "default" and change it to the recording you just made.

You also can record different messages for different statuses. That way, if you're going to be gone on a business trip or vacation, you can change the status of your extension in the top right, and it will play the recording you've selected for that status.
