Note: ScreenConnect should only be installed only if necessary AFTER SuperOps is installed using the instructions found here.


  1. On the computer that needs ScreenConnect installed, navigate to https://screenconnect.pinnacletechnology.solutions/ in any web browser, like Safari. 
  2. Click on the arrow next to "Build Installer"
  3. A new window should open up called "Build Installer". Fill in the following fields, leaving all other fields blank.
    1. Name: Use Machine Name
    2. Company name: Choose your companies name here
    3. Primary user: Put your first and last name, follow by (Mac). For example: John Doe (Mac)
    4. Type: Set this to "Mac OS X (.pkg)
  4. Click the download button. This will initiate a download, which should get saved in your downloads folder.
  5. Open the download in Finder, then right click on the program and select Open With-> Installer. Note: If you run the program directly from Safari, it may prevent you from proceeding due to security settings.
  6. If the security prompt says you can't open the app because of an Unidentified Developer. Control+Click the installer and click Open.
  7.  
  8. When you run the program, your Mac may deliver a security prompt. If so, click on “Open
  9. Follow the steps in the installer by clicking: Continue-> Install -> Enter your credentials-> Install Software.
  10. If a window pops up asking for permission to control Finder, click "OK"




Configure Security Settings

Once the installer finishes, you'll see a popup saying that ScreenConnect requires Accessibility Permissions. Click Configure Permissions to be taken to the Security & Privacy pane in System Preferences. 



  1. Clicking "Configure Permissions" above should take you to: System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy-> Accessibility. Click the lock in the lower left of the window and enter your password to unlock the settings. 
  2. Then, locate the ScreenConnect program on the right. It will show the Pinnacle logo, and be named something like to "Pinnacle Technology Solutions Client" or "Connectwise...". Check the box next to it 
  3. Click the back arrow, then select "Screen Recording" in the list on the left. Then do the same step of checking the box on the right for ScreenConnect. The name will be "Pinnacle Technology Solutions Client" or "Connectwise...". 




If the application you want to add to add an exception for is not in the list, add it manually by clicking + and navigating to the “Applications” folder:

Note: If for some reason you are unable to get ScreenConnect successfully installed, please try installing SuperOps instead using the instructions found here.
