This article will go through the procedure to ensure the migration of your data to OneDrive goes smoothly.
- Before the migration takes place you should receive an email from Pinnacle or IT Contact notifying you of the change a day before it will happen.
- The day after you receive the notification, please sign-in as normal. You might see this OneDrive message pop up when you login. You may close this pop up, but this means the next time you sign in your data will be migrated to OneDrive.
- Before you take your next break or lunch, we recommend rebooting your computer and sign-in again so that the migration can run, while you are away. This can take anywhere between 5 min and 15 min so it's better to do it while you do not need to work.
- Once you are logged in after the migration happens and you still see the pop up above, then please navigate to your company's Public drive and run the "ResetOneDriveAndReboot.bat" file. This file reboots your computer so please only do it when everything is saved and you are ready to reboot. If you cannot find this file or have trouble running it please give Pinnacle a call and we can assit you.
- Once you run that file please login one more time. If you see the same pop up as before please call Pinnacle, otherwise your files have been migrated successfully!
