It is possible to be logged in to Chrome with your corporate account, but NOT have syncing enabled. If you click your "avatar" (sometimes it's a silhouette instead of an actual picture) in the upper right-hand corner, you may see "Sync is off". Simply click "Turn on sync...." and you'll sync your bookmarks, plugins, and browsing history with Google, so you can take it with you from machine to machine.
What you want to see is "Sync is on" - see below.
