- Enter chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments into your navigation bar
- A page that looks like this should appear
- Make sure that the Download PDFs option is selected
- Click this link to access a blank PDF to download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LYBovLLEOXbEyfGVeeboJafrbX_5r7NA/view?usp=sharing
- When the PDF downloads it will appear in your download bar at the bottom of the page
- Click the arrow on the download
- Then click "Always open in System Viewer"
- The next time you download a PDF it will now open in your Default PDF viewer. You can click this link to a blank PDF to test: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LYBovLLEOXbEyfGVeeboJafrbX_5r7NA/view?usp=sharing
