1. Open File Explorer and navigate to This PC > Data (M:)
2. Scroll to the bottom to find "ScanSnapInstaller" and double click on the file
3. Once it opens it will ask for admin credentials which will automatically be filled in
4. ScanSnap Home Setup window will open and start installing
5. Check "Agree to the terms of service" and then click "Next"
6. A welcome screen will pop up, hit the next button on that
7. ScanSnap will then start installing, you can leave that in the background to install while you continue work as that takes a few minutes to install. Once it is complete a popup window will appear saying it has been updated, hit "OK" to that.
8. Then go to the search bar in the bottom left of your screen and search for ScanSnap Home and open that application
9. It might ask you to update the data, click update
10. Click "View Later" on the welcome popup and the Product Registration popup
11. Go to the taskbar on the bottom of your screen and click the up arrow to find the ScanSnap logo, hover over that logo. If it says Ready to scan, go ahead and scan. If it says it can't find a scanner, unplug the scanner and re-plug it in so that it will be ready to scan.
12. Once you start a scan it will show the scan process in the bottom right of your screen
13. Click scan to file and you'll be able to save it to the Temp folder.
