1. Open the Control Panel. (Click here to see how to open the Control Panel.)
  2. Click Hardware and Sound => Devices and Printers.
  3. Click Add a device.

  4. Select the correct scanner name, and click "Next." Note - there are many devices, so you may have to scroll to find yours.

  5. The install is now complete.

  6. In NAPS:
    1. Open the NAPS program. You can search in windows if it's not on your desktop. 
    2. Profiles > New > (Leave all settings default) Choose device > Select correct device > OK > OK > Done
  7. Now, put a piece of paper in your scanner and click "Scan" in NAPS to test
