There's a significant Windows 10 Upgrade that we're slowly releasing to our customers, but we're seeing it take 30-60 minutes (or more in some case) to install. We want to make sure you don't get stuck in the middle of this.
If you see either of the following, please do NOT click "Update and Restart" or "Restart Now" until you can spare your computer and leave it plugged in (if it is a laptop) for as much as a few hours.
Background
While Microsoft releases Windows 10 upgrades every 6 months (alternating one major and one minor), Pinnacle has chosen to do a once a year upgrade schedule. Every release is supported with security updates for 18 months, so this stays within the supported security window.
The Windows 10 April 2020 Upgrade was particularly major, and is only now (Fall 2020) starting to be accepted by enterprises for installation after a series of hiccups that Microsoft addressed this summer. These need to be installed before Windows 1903 quits receiving security updates in December.
