Many websites ask you to allow or block notifications from them. If you click allow, Chrome lets that site send you pop-up notifications whenever they want to. Clicking "allow" on the wrong site can result. in a lot of unwanted and annoying pop-ups.

Windows notifications are always labeled, and they'll tell you where they're from. For example, a chrome notification will say "Google Chrome - websiteurl.com" as seen below.

To deactivate specific notifications,

1. Open Chrome

2. click on the 3 dots on the top right

3. Select "Settings"

4. In the search bar, type "Site Settings." Select it from the list below.

5. Scroll down to the Permissions section and select "Notifications"

6. Then, scroll down to the Allow section and find the website in question. For example, above it's "adebayothevoice.com"

7. Click the 3 dots on the right next to it, and select Block

You should be good to go! That site no longer has the ability to spam you with notifications.
