Joining a machine to your organization's Windows Domain allows Pinnacle to manage settings, automatically install software and printers, and securely grant access to server resources. Joining a computer to the domain is usually done after imaging it.

Please only do this in coordination with Pinnacle - you'll need the domain name and adminstrator credentials to proceed!


  1. Make sure the computer is connected to your organization's wired network.
  2. Go to File Explorer, right click on "This PC", and select Properties
  3. On the right, click "Change Settings" 
  4. Then, click "Change" next to "Rename this computer or change it's domain or workgroup"
  5. Enter your domain name here. 
  6. You may need to enter credentials at this step. 
  7. Domain 2
  8. Click Skip when prompted to Add an account.Domain 4
  9. Click Restart Now.
  10. When the computer restarts, let Pinnacle know that the machine should be available - we'll finish up any remaining preparation!
