Connecting to a windows computer from an Android:
Warning: Using a mobile device for ScreenConnect may be a very slow and "laggy" process
  1. Download the "ConnectWise Control"  App onto your Android Device from your phone's App Store
  2. Open "ConnectWise Control"
  3. Enter the "Connect Wise Control URL" (for Pinnacle it is screenconnect.pintechfw.com)

  4.  Press the "Login Button" at the top right corner of the screen

  5. Enter your credentials

  6. Will ask for a 6 digit confirmation number, which will be sent to your email

  7. Press the "Access" tab 

  8. Navigate to the device you wish to connect with -- it can be difficult to press certain buttons, because the screen is so small

  9. Connect to the device (you will need to double click on the device you wish to connect to)

  10. A table will come up, which will give you options for navigating in the Windows Computer. The rest of this process will use the "Virtual Mouse" option as listed below. If you wish to use the "Trackpad" option, just follow the instructions on the screen.

  11. It is simplest to turn the phone to landscape ortientation, so you can see the whole screen more clearly. The login screen will be displayed. An interactive mouse will appear if you chose the "Virtual Mouse" option (as seen above). This virtual mouse works exactly like a regular mouse, but is controlled with your finger. 

  12. If you press at the top of the screen, and slightly swipe downwards, you will open up the screen connect "control" panel -- from which you can "send ctrl-alt-delete" to the screen in order to sign in (accessing the "control" panel is a very similar motion to opening the notifications tab on an android, if you are familiar with Android phones). The "send ctrl-alt-delete" can be accessed through the lightning bolt symbol.

  13. You also can access the keyboard from the same "control" panel cited in step #10. Feel free to explore the other options in the "control" panel. You will need to hit the keyboard icon again to make the keyboard go away after entering in the credentials.

  14. Log in

  15. Press the back arrow on the "control" panel to disconnect from your sessio

Connecting to a Windows computer from iOS (iPad/iPhone):

  1. Download ConnectWise Control App from the App Store
  2. Open ConnectWise Control App
  3. Type in ConnectWise Control URL (for Pinnacle it is screenconnect.pintechfw.com) and Press Go
  4. Press the "Login Button" at the top right corner of the screen
  5. Enter your credentials
  6.  Will ask for a 6 digit confirmation number, which will be sent to your email
  7. Press the "Access" tab
  8. Navigate to the device you wish to connect with -- it can be difficult to press certain buttons, because the screen is so small

9.Connect to the device (you will need to double click on the device you wish to connect to)         

10. It may be helpful to turn your device to the landscape position, for greater clarity in seeing the screen.

11. A menu giving you mouse control options may appear once your ScreenConnect session has begun, but it may not appear, and can be accessed by clicking on the mouse icon in the top left corner. The menu at the top of the screen is the "Control Panel". Pressing the mouse icon will give you the option of using a "Virtual Mouse" or a "Trackpad". 

The rest of this process will use the "Virtual Mouse" option as listed below. It is the default option. If you wish to use the "Trackpad" option, just follow the instructions that pop up on the screen after hitting the mouse icon.

  1. You must "send ctrl-alt-delete" to the screen in order to sign in. The "send ctrl-alt-delete" can be accessed through the lightning bolt symbol.

  1. Enter the necessary credentials into the log in screen. Must press the keyboard icon to activate the keyboard. Press the "Done" button to minimize the keyboard after your credentials are typed in.
14. Press the left arrow key to log in
           

  1. Once you are logged in, do the tasks you need to complete
  2. After your tasks are completed, log out of your user account--the process to do this is the same as if you were at a normal windows computer
  3. Once you have logged out of the user account, press the back arrow at the top right of the screen to end your ScreenConnect session.
  1. Once you have exited your ScreenConnect session, you can end the ConnectWise Control App like you would any other app.


Remotely Controlling an Android Device:

Most gestures can be emulated with the host's mouse. There are also additional functions mapped to the host's keyboard:
  • Home key = Home button

  • End key = Recents

  • Escape key = Back

The app also allows for transferring files from a machine to the Samsung device using either the file transfer menu or the shared toolbox.
