Pinnacle recommends scanning to the "temp folder" located at c:\users\yourusername\temp for speed and efficiency.
In order to change the default save location in ScanSnap, please follow these steps:
1. Open the "tray" on your pc (pictured below) and right-click on the ScanSnap icon
2. Select "ScanSnap Folder Settings" (#1)
3. Select "Save" and then "Browse"
4. Navigate to C:\users\yourusername\temp and hit "OK"
It should look like this (with your username where the obfuscated text sits):
5. Close out of the ScanSnap Window
6. Reopen the "tray" and right-click on the ScanSnap icon again
7. This time, select "Scan Button Settings" #2
8. Click "Detail" to expand the page
9. Go through and repeat Step 4 on the "Customize" tab and then click "Apply."
This will route all scans to the temp folder.
